Extract Business Leads from Google Maps with Dumpling AI to Google Sheets
Configured with Google Sheets, HTTP Request, Split Out. Review the connections and setup before adapting this template.
Node categories in this workflow

- Web / API
- Transform
- Data store
Icons describe general node roles, inferred from node types. Inspect the parameters for the configured action.
Drag to pan; use + and − to zoom. Reconstructed from the exported node positions; nothing runs here. Dashed lines represent non-main connections. Full node names and notes appear below.
How it works
The exported workflow contains the following configured nodes. Their connections are shown above; inspect the JSON for the complete logic, expressions, and external actions.
| Node | Category | Type | Operation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trigger: Manual Test Run | Trigger | Manual Trigger | See node parameters |
| Search Google Maps via Dumpling AI | Web / API | HTTP Request | POST |
| Split Places List for Processing | Transform | Split Out | See node parameters |
| Save Results to Google Sheet (Place Info) | Data store | Google Sheets | append |
Setup
- Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
- Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace
REPLACE_WITH_*values with your resource identifiers. - Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
- Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.
Requirements
An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.

Workflow notes
🔍 Workflow Goal
🔍 Workflow Goal
Automatically search Google Maps using Dumpling AI based on a keyword (e.g., best restaurants in New York), extract results, and log them into a structured Google Sheet.
🚀 Workflow Steps
-
Manual Trigger
- Starts the workflow when testing manually.
-
Dumpling AI Google Search
- Sends a POST request to Dumpling AI to search for locations on Google Maps based on your query.
-
Split Out Node
- Breaks the
places[]array into individual items so each result can be handled separately.
- Breaks the
-
Google Sheets Node
- Appends each place’s data (name, address, phone, website, rating, etc.) into a specific tab of your Google Sheets.
🧠 Notes
- The search query is currently set to:
"best+restaurants+in+New+York" - Output columns include rating, price level, website, phone, booking links, etc.
- Each run consumes Dumpling AI credits per query.
- You can customize search keywords or location in the HTTP Request body.
✅ Tip
To automate this regularly, change the trigger node to a Schedule Trigger and add dynamic query input using a Set or Webhook node.
